The City of Truro Rifle Club is a well-established club originally formed from the Truro Home Guard. The club offers both small-bore rifle and air weapons disciplines, and has an indoor range – 25 yard (small-bore) and 10 meter (air weapons), as well as a 50 meter outdoor range. The club has members ranging from 11 to 70-plus, including male and female shooters. The club also encourages the disabled into shooting and offers coaching to beginners on a Friday evening.

The club is active both in local competitions within Cornwall as well as competing in national competitions on a postal basis.
